Videos don't stop when switching to a different tab
Currently in the Windows version of the Gospel library, when I'm playing a conference video (in its popout pane. It would be nice to have the option to pop it out or not), when I switch to a different tab the video stops and the video resets to the beginning. It would be nice if videos would keep playing from other tabs (maybe show which tabs have video playing), or if there was an audio-only for videos (conference talks) like there is on other platforms that would play even when tabs are switched, that would be nice. This especially when…

Notes show above pictures
When a note is created on a paragraph above an image (at least in General Conference talks) the note will show below the image following that paragraph. It would be nice to have those images show right beneath the highlighted paragraph (as it is with other notes) instead of below the image associated with that paragraph.

Allow jump to page
Jump to page number in scriptures or other static content. It would be nice to be able to jump to a page number in the gospel library. If this is a feature it’s hard to find how to do it. There are times when someone if referring to a page number (specifically in the Leader handbooks) and being able to jump to that page would be helpful.

Search for notebooks by typing notebook title
When navigating to the most recently created notebook, for instance, sometimes it is difficult to scroll all the way down to the end of the drop-down menu.

Time/location stamp
I'd like to see a shortcut key combination or menu item that allows a note to be timestamped, and, on devices with the capability, location stamped. It would be useful to see one's ideas evolve over the course of multiple readings over time, or to remember the setting in which the material was being read. Thank you.

More Granular History Controls
The Clear option History on the main menu would be more useful to have a filter to remove individual and date specific items.

Remove notification when following inline cross-reference links
When I ctrl-click to follow a cross-reference inline link the app asks the following:
Did you mean to switch apps? "Gospel Library" is trying to open "Gospel Library."
Is there any way to get rid of that.
P.S. Inline links are WAY more useful to me, so I'm grateful to have found the ctrl-Ins implementation of them in Settings-Behavior.

Have a mouse tip come up on the tabs to identify the title
The title or location of a tab is not fully displayed on tabs not in focus, could we have a mouse tip displayed when the mouse hovers over a tab? That would allow easy identification of the tab contents. It would be even more helpful to show the first verse number shown at the top of the tab's display area with the chapter and book information if the tab's content has verses.

Allow tabs referencing the same chapter to have different locations
Multiple tabs set to the same chapter or section of scripture are locked together so I can't use switching tabs to show my virtual class different verses of the same chapter. It appears this happens when the tabs are in the same window, but not if they are in different windows. As I share my app window in my virtual class to enable class members to see the scriptures without leaving the Zoom display, I would rather not switch the app window shared, just change tabs as I move through the lesson.
The Android app doesn't lock screens set to…1 vote -
Tag or link to local files
I have hundreds of pages of old handwritten study notes that I have been scanning. I would love to be able to tag or link to a local file on my machine, so that when I'm reading Alma 7 (for example), it will link to a PDF (or JPG or TIFF) with my handwritten notes on that chapter.

Resizing notes
If I select several verses and add a note but don't highlight the verses, I should be able to resize that note.

Recognize my handwriting.
I would like to write in my notes in my handwriting so I don't have to use my keyboard. I can write notes in my OneNote with my stylus and it would be helpful to do the same with this wonderful tool. I realize this suggestion has huge implications but it is just a thought.

I suggest you make it optional to update the date on a note or to leave the original date on the note when changes are saved.
Often I make minor edits to notes I previously made, but I want to retain the original date the note was made rather than it being updated every time changes are saved.

Allow easy sharing of training videos
I found a video (Library > Handbooks and Callings > Member and Leadership Responsibilities > Elders Quorum and Relief Society). Allow me to copy the path to the video so that I can share it with someone else. When I click to highlight the path, the path disappears.

Allow changing of playback speed for training videos
I found a video (Library > Handbooks and Callings > Member and Leadership Responsibilities > Elders Quorum and Relief Society). Allow me to change the playback speed. I don’t have a lot of time, people talk slowly, and I can easily process a video played at 1.75x.

Consistent font size for all text
Font size for footnotes should be consistent with the text size on the reading screen. Currently, when a footnote is selected (not using pop-up mode), the text size is dramatically smaller.

prompt immediately to the note body.
When I go to make a note from the scriptural text, the cursor goes to the "title" window of the note. I would suggest that you make it so the cursor lands directly in the body of the note. That is how it works on my iOS on my phone app. Thank you for considering this.

non-verse version of text
One of the options is to view the text with or without the highlights or the superscripts… It would be nice to have another option similar to those where it can switch between the verse view or paragraph view (like pre-verse). I have a paper version of the book of mormon like that and it is good to read it like that sometimes.
