Share and sync Tags or Notebooks with other users
It would be really great to be able to share a Tag or Notebook like one shares a Google Doc -- where edits/additions can be seen by other users, so users could collaboratively study a topic and share their insights together. This would be really helpful in the context of the new "Come, Follow Me" curriculum, which encourages studying with family members and others.
(I realize this would require changes to more than just the Windows app, so if there's a better place to request this feature, just let me know. 🙂)
6 votesAs noted in the suggestion, this requires major backend changes in order to even be possible. As we’re volunteers who work in Gospel Library for Windows in our spare time, we have no power to change the backend to accommodate something like this. It’s highly unlikely that such a feature would be implemented because of the major changes required. Your best bet would be to send feedback through the iOS or Android version of the app.

delete all bookmarks with one click
either by putting a check mark in just several old bookmarks, or with one click to delete all bookmarks. this is just like emails, you can select one or two emails to be deleted or one click and delete all your emails. i had so many bookmarks, so it took so long.... way too long to delete every bookmark i had.
6 votesWe won’t be adding any mass-deletion features into the app. If you find yourself with a large number of bookmarks, you should probably be using the tags feature instead for many of them.

Have my notes and markings transfer between languages.
Have my notes and markings transfer between languages. I read in English and Spanish. I would like my highlights, tags, references, and notes to be present in Spanish from my English version. I am not expecting to translate the notes, but it would be nice to have my highlights, tags, references, and notes be present in Spanish. For example, if I highlighted the first 1/3 of a verse in English, when I switch to Spanish, the first 1/3 of a verse would be highlighted in Spanish and my notes and links would be present when I clicked the highlight. If…
5 votesThe structure of the content provided by the Church does not really allow for making these marks match up across languages. Cool idea but incredibly difficult to implement. With current content structure not even really possible.

I would like to be able to do something like a hashtag
I find that it would be great to enable some sort of tag, that enables me to later search scriptures or stories that I personally have marked with certain themes or topics and maybe even being able to specify said tag. For example, I could make a tag like pride and being to search everything under that topic, or be able to search inside that tag the examples I have read, warnings, definitions, etc. Oftentimes I can do some sort of search like in the index, but they will many times not have everything that I have found, such as…

Sunday Program Integration
Integrate a way for the ward to upload the weekly program into the app and make it available for all assigned members to their assigned ward.

At Church our internet almost never works. Allow bookmarks and personalized data to be stored locally so it works without internet.
The Windows 10 Gospel Library App works very poorly when there is no internet connection, which is usually the case at Church. Bookmarks and personalized comments should be stored locally so that the app works well without internet connectivity. When connectivity is restored, updated can then propagate to the server and other devices with the same login.
5 votesThese features already function without a connection and upload updated annotations when they are reconnected. If you are having issues with this, you’re running into a bug and you’ll need to contact user support.

Additional Marking options
It would be awesome if we could have more options to mark than just highlight and underline. Boxing text or whole verses... Bolding words or phrases... Connecting words or phrases in different verses with a line etc...
4 votesThe annotation options we provide have to be supported on all platforms including Android and iOS as well as Windows. We consume a Church provided service that dictates what those options are. As a Windows team we are unable to create options that cannot be synced to the other platforms.

This already exists in the application. Simply click and drag or press, hold, and drag your bookmark into the location you’d like it in the bookmarks pane.

Add "add to clipboard" in the share screen
I was writing an email and wanted to include a link from the Gospel Library. I navigated to it then clicked Share but it only offers OneNote and Mail.
I just wanted a link put on my clipboard so that I could copy/paste, not to create a new email that I'd copy/paste from then delete.
4 votesHave decided to leave the Share screen as what the Windows environment consistently uses across all apps.
Ctl+C will copy to clipboard and we offer lots of ways to customize how it adds it.

Allow users to sync libraries across devices
Please allow us to sync the downloaded libraries across devices. If I download something, on one device, I'm going to most likely want it on my other devices, but I also would like to be able to read one one device, and switch to another device to pick up where I left off.
4 votesThis idea has been discussed before and it was determined at the time that this behavior is not ideal for most users, especially users on metered connections—or most people outside of Utah. We have opted instead to provide an option to download “common books” upon first running the app and an easily-accessible download all feature.

Readjust Highlights
It would be nice to be able to take an existing highlight and expand it to include more verses/paragraphs. Right now all I can do is delete the current highlight and then create a new one that includes everything.

Include Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part A and Part B
In Handbook 2:Administering the Church, 7.6.2 "Helping Prospective Elders Prepare to Receive the Melchizedek Priesthood" it states the following:
Resources to help prospective elders prepare to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood may include the following:Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part A, lessons 1–4 and 9
Duties and Blessings of the Priesthood, Part B, lessons 1–6.These resources, however, are not available in the Gospel Library app (at least, not that I can find). They ought to be.
4 votesChurch leadership determines what content is available. Gospel Library for Windows team is unable to provide other content. Call the global service desk to put this request to Church leadership.

Tagging of Journal notes
One of the challenges with Gospel Library on all format is the limitation of not being able to tag journal notes which results in a disorganized design. This option needs to be presented to lds.org and all platforms.
Thank you

Tags, Journal and Notes on the Main Menu
Can we have the Tags, Journal and Notes on the Main Menu just like in the Gospel Library in Android. It eases the burden of looking for your tags and notes.

Keyboard Shortcuts
I find keyboard shortcuts extremely useful on PCs. I would greatly enjoy navigation with keyboard shortcuts.
I appreciate all of the work you have done and in many ways now prefer this version to the android version. Thank you!
3 votesClosing because this is too generic. There are already many keyboard shortcuts in the application. If you want to see specific keyboard shortcuts, please list them as separate, individual suggestions.
A few example keyboard shortcuts:
CTRL+F – Search
Arrow keys – Next/Previous Chapter
CTRL+T – Tabs
CTRL+B – Bookmarks -
