Allow me to see the contents of a highlighted scripture while I'm writing a note.
Currently in the version I have, when I highlight a scripture and say that I want to write a note for it, a fullscreen (almost) popup comes up allowing me to write the note, but it blocks the contents of the highlighted scripture. This makes it difficult to write the note, because I can't remember what the thought I had was, without seeing the text to remind me.
Note edit windows are now independent of the content window so they can be moved around at will.

I think being able to resize the note screen (and have it stay at the size, like File Explorer does) would be a nice way to handle this.

When a note is being edited, typing and using the controls for the notes editing area is all that can be done, you can't even move the parent window. Please correct this, perhaps by making it its own window as has been suggested before.

When I go do annotations, it would be nice if I could move the window around. Note, this person asked for an in-line editor, but I’d rather be able to resize and move it around. (https://ldswin.uservoice.com/forums/236193-general/suggestions/40070722-host-note-editor-in-line-with-the-text-instead-o)
Right now, if I highlight text and then go to add a note, that annotation window takes up 50% of my screen, and is forced to be smack right on top of the scriptures I am annotating. I can't tell you how many times, when I am writing a more complex note, that I have to close the note, refer back to the scripture (or talk) to remember what it said to help complete my thought, and then re-open the note to finish. Sometimes, for longer annotations, I have to cycle through this operation multiple times. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if I had the option to re-size or move that annotation window. I would definitely use that, too. I can't be the only one.

When I create a Note in the Gospel Library app for windows, the "window" pops up over and covers the text (it isn't really a separate "window" in the sense that I can move it independently of the application). This makes it so I can not reference or copy portions of the text to make my note. I may want to keep the note open as I read, so that I can add to it continuously.
It would feel more natural and intuitive to have the note editor appear in-line with the text.
Workaround: use a separate application to take your note, then when you are done, copy the note to where you want it.

when making a note, it would be great if the note was a separate or new window that can be moved to the side of the app, so I can write and still read and even search other scriptures, etc. This would be for Windows operating systems.
