Disable/Lengthen Screen Timeout
It would be nice if when you enter the app there is a setting to where the screen never turns off until you leave the app like the android version.
There is now an option under Settings -> Behavior called:
Keep screen display on wile using the app.
Just click that on whenever you want the screen to not timeout.

I think that this feature should have an option to set a threshold to do so.
HOWEVER - From a Security Standpoint, I'd highly recommend the following:
- Require a mandatory password prompt with a minimum timeout to access the donations tab feature, (if implemented), (Including for the Website)
to reduce the risk or possibility of an unauthorized donation or access to account information. If someone were to gain access to someone's tithing history someone inadvertently gain knowledge of the signed in user's income as it's a simple 10% calculation.- Require a mandatory password prompt with a minimum timeout to access the LDS Tools features (if implemented) / Including for the Website, to protect church members sensitive information in the stake directory.

This is really easy to implement in Windows. Use the DisplayRequest class (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.system.display.displayrequest.aspx). I added support for this in my app in about 15 minutes (but I didn't have it time out).

Hi,
As Brian commented it would be nice to set for how long the screen will be on, like a dropdown menu to select between 5 to 60 min. -

Is it possible rather than an always on setting to set a longer timeout when in the app? This would be adjusted in the in-app settings menu. I've heard people don't like the always on feature because the device can accidently be left on killing the battery prematurely.

Yeah I think it Is in the setting in the android version so that people can turn it off I they want to. It is nice not having to keep scrolling to keep the screen on.

That would be very good, especially since it sometimes takes a while to resume after you turn it back on, and when it does, it goes back to the home screen.
