Ability to store data on different drive than C (boot)
Create option to store downloads/data on a different drive. My OS and apps are on a 500GB SSD (my C drive) and I have two 2TB drives that are running in Raid 0. This is where I store my data.
It would be nice to have a choice with Gospel Library to download all my content without filling up my C drive. Thanks for a great app!

Expand the search dictionary to add and include -eth, -est, -ast, and similar suffixes to the end of the words. For example, if I search 'know' results for 'know' or 'knows' come up, but 'knoweth' and 'knowest' do not usually appear in the search results. Scripture words like makest, maketh, readeth, looketh, hast, wilt (for will), eateth, hath, doeth, doth, etc. do not usually show up when searching their modern-English counterparts.

Middle mouse button support
On the windows app I would love to be able to use the middle mouse button, similar to how it works in the web browser. This could support opening links in a new tab, closing tabs, and enabling auto-scroll.

Ability to filter Notebook content by tags
I've gone from using tags (A LOT) to Notebooks for major subjects. Within the Notebook itself, I'd like to filter the content by tags that were included with the scripture verses (or other content) associated with that Notebook selection; or, at least allow the ability to search the notebook by tag names.
EXAMPLE
1. Go to Mosiah 3:19.
2. Highlight verse 19 and click on the round selection "button", which appears at the bottom of the highlight.
3. Select "Tag"
4. Add a few tags (i.e., "Natural Man", "Atonement - Enabling Power", "Atonement - Cleansing Power", etc).

provide more context for links to non-downloaded content
I love the links. Thank you. I find that I often run into references to older talks, I dig those up, and then put in links to them in my scripture study. Great! However, when the Gospel Library app gets reset or whatever and I have to go re-download my content, I run into a problem. It happens consistently. Links won't work to content that isn't downloaded. And, the link itself provides zero context about where it is supposed to be connected, so it's really hard for me to even know what content I need to go download in order…

Mark footnotes containing specific types of data
On an older version of the scriptures web site, there was a setting available that would mark footnotes (with a dot) that contained a specific type of item, based on your choice using checkboxes. The types would be things such as scripture references, topical guide references, bible dictionary, alternate translations, JST, and other notes (IE, OR, etc.). This was a great feature that I used all the time, especially when studying Isaiah or other books in the old testament to see very quickly which footnotes contained alternate translations, JST, or notes. Enable quick context-sensitive menu that pops up when something is highlighted, like in MS Word
When I select text with my cursor in Gospel Library for Windows, it gives me no immediate options without first selecting the hamburger menu. It's just an extra click. Could we not make it to be similar in concept to how it's evolved in some word processors, where a context-sensitive menu pops up as soon as you highlight text (select text with the cursor)? No need to then select a hamburger for the most popular actions - they are immediately available in a limited, down-scaled set of options. reduce image size
The images at the top of each chapter of Come Follow Me are huge in initial view taking up whole screen so cant see chapter/page info (yeah, I know you can see that on the nav bar). But, if you click the image it gets smaller. Seems like it should be a smaller image first so we can see the page chapter titles/info then if you want to see the image bigger, click on it and it gets bigger. Feels kind of backward and clunky the way it is now.

Allow users to save note with out closing
While typing notes/journals during meetings such as General Conference it would be nice to save my notes periodically with out having to close the window.

Have my highlights print when printing the document.
The print feature is a great add, however, when printing the highlights do not print. It would be great to have them. I use this for talks and need the highlights.
Currently I "print" to PDF and use Adobe to go through and highlight what I need.4 votesThis is currently planned, but also currently impossible because of how printers treat webpages. In the future, we’ll see about trying to find a suitable workaround.

Allow Import/Addition of Text from Other Sources to My Library
As a Gospel Library user, I want to import text from outside sources, such as selected BYU Speeches, the US Constitution, or text from Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, so that I can highlight, tag, and link passages in my outside sources to the scriptures.
I understand that my choice of outside sources would be unique and/or provincial, so they would only be visible in my library.

Right click user-form like mobile/online version
Maybe good idea that the idk how to call it when you make right click on text for make notes or underline, would have the same or similar to mobile version like the icons, style, similar UI.

Like screenshots from sundayscool lessons ore pictures. We had for example a great picture of Lehis dream on the whiteboard.

Change Find on Page feature to search text of content only (not notes), or add a toggle
The current Find on Page feature searches the text of the content as well as the test of Notes and Marked Notes on that page. If I am only looking for occurrences of a word in the content, it would be helpful to be able to search only the content.

Have a search feature that would allow me to search words within a certain range
Have a search feature that would allow me to search words within a certain range (e.g. 'house' and 'prophet' within 100 words, 20 words, 10 words, 5 words, 3 words, or custom range; this would span multiple verses or paragraphs)
The words could be in any order e.g. 'prophet' could come within my selected 20 words of 'house'
To prevent making this too strenuous on computer or phone resources, limit the advanced search to 5 words or less.

Condense Scripture Hyperlink
Condense scripture hyperlinks into one text block so that I only see the referenced scriptures. Currently, I have to scroll through the entire chapter block to see the highlighted verses. (i.e. Exodus 12:3; 5-7; 13-14, 46 would only show those verses). This feature is available on the iPad version of gospel library, it's amazing.

Accessibility: Real-Time Highlighting in "Read Along" (Read Description)

Please implement narrated real-time highlighting functionality to the "Read Along" mode, similar to ReadSpeaker TextAid, iSpeech API, Microsoft Immersive Reader, and Audible Immersion Reading.
This would be highly beneficial for those of us with ADHD, dyslexia, or autism, as well as for general scripture reading retention.
For immediate initial implementation of the real-time highlighting feature, only support real-time highlighting in "Read Along" mode when the Text-to-Speech audio option is selected. This will make it easier to quickly implement, because you can get code ideas…
