Disable/Lengthen Screen Timeout
It would be nice if when you enter the app there is a setting to where the screen never turns off until you leave the app like the android version.
This is a good idea. We’ll need to figure out how we want to implement this. Should these be a feature that can be turned on or off in settings?

This is really easy to implement in Windows. Use the DisplayRequest class (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.system.display.displayrequest.aspx). I added support for this in my app in about 15 minutes (but I didn't have it time out).

As Brian commented it would be nice to set for how long the screen will be on, like a dropdown menu to select between 5 to 60 min.
Is it possible rather than an always on setting to set a longer timeout when in the app? This would be adjusted in the in-app settings menu. I've heard people don't like the always on feature because the device can accidently be left on killing the battery prematurely.

Yeah I think it Is in the setting in the android version so that people can turn it off I they want to. It is nice not having to keep scrolling to keep the screen on.

That would be very good, especially since it sometimes takes a while to resume after you turn it back on, and when it does, it goes back to the home screen.
