Add an option for opening the app to last viewed or to the home screen.
When I open the windows version it opens automatically to the last viewed. This has caused me problems with the app crashing. I can not find an option to have it open by default to the home screen.

Add a black theme for OLED displays
The dark theme is nice, but a black theme that draws the minimum number of pixels possible would be even nicer for OLED users obsessed with battery life.

Add a confirmation screen before deleting notes and bookmarks.
Add an "are you sure you want to delete?" option. I've accidently deleted the wrong bookmark several times as well as special notes I've taken. This option would have saved me heartache many times. A confirmation request on updating bookmarks would be nice too!

Allow notes to be saved to a particular notebook rather than just the default
When adding notes in the Gospel library it seems that you can only add to the notebook designated as the default. Would like to choose which notebook the note is saved to at the time it is created.

Sharing
Make it easier to share the article/scripture I'm currently reading. Unless I'm doing this wrong, it'd be nice to have a button to share a link to the article/scripture I'm reading instead of being able to share only what is currently highlighted.
17 votesYou can now share whole chapters via the More button in the Home ribbon.

Remove intermediate highlight step

Change the bookmark "update" icon
At least in the GLW beta, the icon next to the bookmarks in the bookmark pane is somewhat unintuitive. The visual design suggests that the button is for updating the bookmark, which it does (through the menu), but the menu also includes several options which are unrelated to updating the bookmark (such as pinning and removing). A generic "menu" icon would be more natural.

This is now changed in the tablet/laptop version of the app. An update with the change for phone users should roll out in the near future.Older
I’ll bring this to the team. I agree, I feel a … or similar menu icon would be more appropriate here, however, we found that, despite having five ways to update bookmarks, users were still struggling to figure out how, even with the help of the help guide. We wanted to make it glaringly obvious.

Windows 10 Universal App Support (UWP)
This would include support for a universal version of the app native to Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, and, eventually, XBOX One. This would also make using Continuum possible on mobile devices.

Easier editing of notes
On Android the notes are represented by an image on the right hand side of the page and allow you to click on it to edit it and add to it. It is too hard to edit notes in the current implementation on Windows.
1 voteNot sure how much easier we can make it. There is an edit option at the top right corner of every single note in the app (just click or tap the little pencil icon).

Page numbers in gospel library
Would it be possible to add page numbers to magazines such as the Ensign in Gospel Library? References noted in other places to Magazine articles that include page numbers are often difficult to find when searching the Gospel Library version. If only the reference is given without any content, it is not possible to use the search function.
1 voteAny content which has page numbers to display is displaying page numbers. As we don’t create the content, we don’t have control over what content does have page numbers, but if it has it, it is showing it already.

Allow notes to be applied to multiple notebooks
When the attribute menu of a note is open to modify it, provide a list in checkbox form that can be expanded to show all notebooks, so the notebook associated with that note can be modified, or multiple notebooks applied in cases where the topics cross over.

Show a date next to each release version
It's hard to tell when something new has been released as there's no date to show when something came out.

Have a way to find previously highlighted verses
It would be great of you could somehow type in the search bar something like "highlighted verses" and it brings up all the verses you have previously highlighted.

Please fix the bookmarking tool
About a week ago the bookmarking tool stopped jumping to the verse with the bookmark, instead it goes to the top of the chapter and I need to scroll down to find where the verse was that I left off the day before. This was working just great until recently. Not sure why that feature was taken away.
