Print, download, export, and backup for notes, notebooks, and annotations
While we cannot speak for others, the lack of an export feature has been a major barrier to our adoption of the Gospel Library application as the main tool for our gospel study, especially of the scriptures.
Many consider their collection of personal notes a treasure of gospel study discoveries and personal insights. The ability to independently export or download, backup, print, read, edit, and use their own personal cross-referenced library of notes, as an independent document, would be an incredible addition to the Gospel Library application on all platforms.
Such features addressing versatility and security, common to so many other applications, would allow all loyal Gospel Library users to become fully invested in using a secure suite of applications.
You can now export your notes from the notes editor page to excel in beta. Should be released in production in the next week or so.

I'm very excited about this. Thank you. I just tried it (beta) and it exported the date, the color of the mark, and what book or verse the mark is in. That's all that it exported. I hope we'll be able to eventually export tags, notes, notebooks, and journal entries. I thought if I was on a different tab in the notes section that it would export that item, but it exported the same three things.

Hoping this gets added so I can save my notes and impressions for my posterity!

Looks like these features were being considered and worked on about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, we still cannot perform even the simple task of printing our notes from within Gospel Library, let alone other important features such as exporting all notes in standard file formats such as DOC, PDF, TXT, or other common formats. Has there been any progress on this critical feature set?

I would like to share my annotations and personal notes and impressions with my children. would there be a way for them to have access to my personal annotations after I am gone?

It would also be really helpful to be able to export a notebook to a word or text files. I like to collect information for a talki in a single notebook, and I would love to be able to export all that group of notes and gospel library content into a single file so that I could arrange into a talk/lesson.

This is the function I was interested in having, too.

It would be very helpful to be able to print journal entries. While I saw that the journal function is not designed for personal journal entries it is difficult if not impossible for me to segregate my gospel study from my journal writing. The two are intertwined. I would love to be able to print entries and then place them in a paper copy of my journal or print as a pdf and export to a stand alone file for journals as well.

I don't see any options on the church site to download all the notes. I'd like to have all my notebooks to be exported or printed at once so I can share them with others. If there is a place to download all the notebook contents, please provide a link. Thank you,

I am using the Institute Manual as a study guide. There are many wonderful charts and images I would like to add in my notes.
