Search Shorthand
On Android and iOS you can search "n37" and it pulls up "1 Nephi 3:7", "2 Nephi 3:7", "3 Nephi 3:7".
It's really nice how fast it is to search things that way.
3 votesSearch using shortcut notation is now implemented.

Provide the ability to edit tag and notebook titles
There does not appear to be a way to edit Tag or Notebook titles once they are created. If you misspell a word in a title it appears your only choice to correct it is to delete the tag or notebook and start over losing all links already attached under that tag or notebook.
4 votesCan now edit tag and notebook titles in production.

For the references pane, for example, please allow for the on-screen font size to be made larger either by pinch zoom or switch in behavior settings. Maybe 24 point or a little larger by switch or pinch zoom to make of 30 point

Bookmark Groups
It would be great if I could group or categorize my bookmarks. I could have a group of bookmarks for the lesson I'm working on and a separate group for scriptures I've memorized, etc. It would make it easier to look for the bookmark I want in a long list.

Talk writing tool
I would love to have the ability to prepare a talk using Gospel Library. I would like to type a paragraph. Look for a quote, scripture, or talk and then copy the portion I would like to use for my talk. Then paste it and automatic show the link where it was quoted from. Continue doing this until a talk is completed.
The ability to do this will be very useful for missionaries. Missionaries could think of a difficult question investigators ask and then answer it using this method.
If there a tool already available in Gospel Library I would…
15 votesYou can easily copy any of the content in Gospel Library for Windows and paste it into any tool you use for writing talks with references and links back to the content. This works with most applications such as Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, Microsoft OneNote, and etc.
Just highlight what you want and either use Ctrl+C or click on the little menu that is highlighted and choose copy from the menu. When you paste it into your other application using Ctrl+V it will come with lots of reference information and a link. Just delete any information not needed.

Make a reference between a note we make, and what was highlighted when we made the note.
When you create a note at the moment, it just pops up at the bottom of the verse (if you made a note in the scriptures at least). But, if you make two notes for the same verse, but for different parts of the verse, there is no way to follow which note went to what part of the verse. I would suggest that when you highlight something to make a note of it, both the highlighted section, and the corresponding note will be marked with a 1, or an a, or something like that. That way, you can highlight…
27 votesThis is available a couple of different ways. If you are reading the verse you see the underlining with the note by displaying your notes inline. Also, you can see it on the Notes screen where what is highlighted is showing above the note.

Allow Bookmarks for Video Playback at Specific Intervals
Allow video bookmarks so you can start playing the video at specific places within the video. This would allow you to show the lesson material and then begin playing the video at the exact spots you would like as you progress throughout the lesson. (i.e.): I could have 3 video bookmarks set to play the video at different interval frame times.
11 votesPutting bookmarks in a downloaded video is available with many video editing programs. We have implemented the ability to download all videos to the location of the users choice so they can edit, bookmark, and etc. using their favorite video editing tools.

Created/Update Date Option on Annotations
It would be really nice to have a feature (optional, that could be turned off or on) that would automatically date-stamp notes that we create. Seeing when I created a note even years later can help me remember the context under which it was created and magnifies my scripture study.
40 votesNotes are now date stamped and easy to see from the new full screen notes view.

Perform Search Online
When I perform a search, it appears that it only searches content I have downloaded.
As such, I frequently have to switch to a browser, perform a search, switch back to the app, and download what I need.
It would be so much nicer if I could just specify I wanted to perform an online search, then, if I found what I wanted, I could just click to download (much like clicking on one of my notes that refers to content that isn't downloaded yet.)50 votesNow implemented

Disable/Lengthen Screen Timeout
It would be nice if when you enter the app there is a setting to where the screen never turns off until you leave the app like the android version.
49 votesThere is now an option under Settings -> Behavior called:
Keep screen display on wile using the app.
Just click that on whenever you want the screen to not timeout.

In addition to Highlighting/Underlining, I need a colored bar to the side of the text (less distracting while projecting the app in class)
When I teach I project the App on a screen during class so that the students can follow along easier. The highlighting and underlining is distracting and hard to read for the audience. I need something that will keep the text cleaner. I suggest a colored bar or just a line to the left of the text.
