add more options for visual cues in marking content
Currently, there are really only two visual cues for marking content -- highlights, and adding a note. In my physical scriptures, I like to add little bracket markings in the margins to indicate where blocks of related verses start and stop. Sometimes, I do this in a black ink pen, while other times, in a colored highlighter (so you can make blocks within blocks to identify quotes/ references to OT verses, etc). Having a similar feature where you can both modify position, type of bracket (either opening, closing, or opening and closing), and color would be nice.
Currently, the closest…
1 voteAt present, this feature is not possible for us to implement because the annotations web service (to which we must sync so that your annotations are available on iOS, Android, and LDS.org) doesn’t support it.
If this changes, we’ll revisit this idea. Updates to variations on new styles of markings will be made here:

Make a way to mark magazines or articles that have been read
Whether by shading, a dot etc., having a way to indicate articles one has read (for instance conference talks) - or a full magazine, if one has read all the articles - so that one can continue reading here and there without finding that they are repeating a previously read conference talk, or missing one they haven't read yet.

can you please please continue to port the magazines to windows phone 8.1
I use Windows phone 8.1
And there are no magazines posted past July1 voteNot possible. We don’t control the content and the major rewrite necessary to get the new content source working in the app has already happened and requires Windows 10 Mobile. You will need to access the new magazines via LDS.org (PDF, or via the pages themselves) or via a device with a supported operating system: iOS 9 or higher, Android 4.4 or higher, Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update or more recent, Windows 10 Anniversary Update or more recent, or an XBOX One, XBOX One S, or XBOX One X with its most recent update.

All audio is already immediately available in the app when the Church’s content team provides it to the Gospel Library apps. We can’t do any more than that.

Add ability to backup all annotations/ notes
Considering how valuable people consider their annotations, I think it would be nice to be able to have a button to backup all notes/ annotations, then another one to restore from backup. That way, if an app glitches and deletes everything, we can just restore from the backup and pick up where we left off.

create a button to update the library
In the app many times i didn't find new items, like the new talks from the general conference... With this button we can find a new update with this resource.
1 voteThe app always checks for and downloads updates upon being opened. A button of this sort would be redundant.

General Conference October 2017
Update the phone with the most recent General Conference from October 2017.
1 voteContent is current on all supported versions of the app, including Gospel Library for Windows 10, version 4+ and Gospel Library for Windows 10 Mobile Beta, version 4+.
The Church’s content team has no plans to support legacy versions of the application with updated content, including Gospel Library for iOS version 3 and lower, Gospel Library for Android, version 3 and lower, Gospel Library for Windows 8.1 version 2 and lower, or Gospel Library for Windows Phone, version 2 and lower.

include a simple word processing feature as a My Talks section
This could be a new annotation function or a completely new section, but completely separate from Journal Entries (which are used for more informal purposes) to allow people to write down longer pieces, such as talks especially, and have them automatically synced through your LDS account. Maybe call it a My Talks section. It would also be great to be able to incorporate existing annotating features, such as tagging and placing in notebooks and linking, to this as well. The ability to share your talks directly with other people through their LDS account could also be beneficial.

Tags in windows version of app
Please make tags available on the windows version of gospel library. It is frustrating to not be able to add them or search those I have added to in gospel library when I am using the app. In reality I would love to you the app for my gospel study as I like format, etc better. The only thing holding me back is the lack of ability to add tags in the windows version.
1 voteFeature already present in supported version of Gospel Library for Windows, version 4+.

Make annotations downloadable to a text file or at least printable
Make annotations downloadable to a text file of some sort or at least be able to print them to a hard copy.
3 votesNo plans to incorporate this feature into Gospel Library for Windows. You can download all of your annotations via LDS.org.

Please make current month magazines avaialable on tablets and Kindle devices , the same as it is on smart phones. Thank you.
Please make current month magazines available on tablets and Kindle devices, just as they are available in smartphones. This will make implementing the new Relief Society and Priesthood curriculum easier.
1 voteDoes not pertain to Gospel Library for Windows. Current version of the app on Windows always has the same content as Gospel Library for iOS (iPhones, iPads) and Gospel Library for Android.

Somehow all the thumbnail immages have dissapeared from my library screen.
Somehow all the thumbnail images have disappeared from the library view.
1 voteNot a feature request.

Give optimizations for Stylus and Mouse users
There was a feature that I believed was not implemented well, and I had an idea to solve it.
I often use a surface pen as an input device every time I use the app. When I right-click on a highlight to add a tag, note, etc. it always creates a new highlight because the pen made the input, regardless of whether the pen used a right-click or not. I believe a better method for both stylus and mouse users would be to have a hamburger menu icon; much like the application already uses when you select and drag to…3 votesIf you would rather the pen not highlight, simply turn off the Live Pen feature in the Annotate ribbon.

Bookmarks lacking one thing, ever-present (current) study page
Hi, we really need a way to have an ever-present bookmark that visually lives at the top of all pages in the Gospel Library. Pinning bookmarks isn't useful because it takes up far too much space on the reader. Imagine when reading an actual book, how you use an actual bookmark to mark where you left off reading today so that you can read from that starting point tomorrow. The current bookmarks are more like browser favorites, they are less-than-ideal as an actual real bookmark for the purpose described above. I ask you for to please extend the current bookmarks…

allow the ability to view the same scripture, or other church resource in multiple languages side by side.
I think that it would be really useful to be able to view a particular item in multiple languages at the same time. For instance being able to see John 3:16 in both English and Spanish at the same time would be very helpful for a better understanding of the Spanish scriptures, but would assist in my learning of a new language.
1 voteUse multiple windows to view more than one piece of content side-by-side in whichever languages you’d like. See chapter six of the help guide for additional information.

The Personal Finances manual is missing from the Self Reliance section!
Please, add the Personal Finances manual to the Self Reliance section, You have all of the other ones except that one!
1 voteIn the supported version of the app (version 4+ for Windows 10), the personal finances manual is located at Library > Self-Reliance > U.S. and Canada > Personal Finances for Self-Reliance. Unsupported legacy versions of the app may not have received and may never receive necessary content updates from the Church’s internal content team for this manual to appear.
To be clear, however, as volunteer app developers, we develop the application on Windows, and not the content. Any new content must be generated by the Church’s content team and then provided to the Gospel Library applications and LDS.org.

Make the Cover Photos found on Printed Ensign available on the web
Many of the Cover Photos on the printed Ensign are wonderful. I would like to be able to have them available on the computer.
1 voteThis UserVoice is for Gospel Library for Windows, not for the web (LDS.org). Additionally, the team of volunteers developing Gospel Library for Windows is separate from the Church’s paid content development team, meaning we don’t control what content is available to our app.

Unfortunately not. We were asked to remove this feature specifically, so it won’t be returning.

Font Size
You need to be able to change the font size for the chapter heading information.
1 voteAlready present in app. The same setting that adjusts the size of regular text in Gospel Library for Windows 10 also adjusts the size of the chapter headings. If you’re running the current version of Gospel Library, it can be found at Settings > Appearance > Text Size.

Make the media bar available on windows 10 mobile
The media bar is no longer available for windows 10 mobile, I would love to be able to listen to my scriptures again!
3 votesDeclining not because we don’t plan to do this, but because the release of the 4.0.0.0 update on mobile devices was premature. An error in the submission process caused it to release to phones when it was only supposed to release to tablets, desktops, and laptops. Now that our 4.0.0.0 release is official out on those devices, our development focus is on the phone UI.
